Crawford Race Cars DP03

From 2005 through 2007, Rob and Chris Dyson ran a limited Grand-Am schedule in partnership with Howard-Boss Motorsports and Crawford Race Cars. The 2007 Rolex 24 was Rob Dyson's eighteenth.

The Crawford Group has been in operation since 1987 and Crawford Race Cars is one of the premier chassis manufactures in the Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series. They placed second in both the 2006 and 2007 manufacturer’s championship for the Daytona Prototype category.

Designed by Andy Scriven, the DP03 is built within very specific parameters with the dimensions and specifications dictated by the Grand American Road Racing Association. It is a flat-bottomed, closed cockpit, mid-engine coupe with a non-stressed engine. The suspension is four wheel independent with adjustable shock absorbers. It is designed to be as efficient as possible in speed (up to 190 MPH) and downforce, using a common rear wing.
