POUGHKEEPSIE, NY, AUG. 22 -- British ace Andy Wallace has been drafted in to co-drive with Chris Dyson for the next two rounds of the Rolex Grand-Am Series, at Virginia International Raceway and Mount Tremblant. The two drivers will be sharing duties in the same Crawford-Judd which Chris Dyson has raced twice this year and scored a runner-up in the Calfornia 400 in March.

For the Virginia 500-miler and the Mount Tremblant Six Hours, the Crawford will be entered as the #20 Thetford / Norcold / Goodyear Dyson Racing car, but the effort will be led by Max Crawford and his crew.

Chris Dyson, who sits second in the Rolex Series' point standings, is enthusiastic. "I've never worked with Andy, though he's driven with our team and done a great job many times in the past. He's a terrific driver and his technical experience will help a great deal in moving the program along. I'm thankful Max has agreed to run us in the next two Grand-Am races. We've still got a chance at winning the championship, and we're going to give it our best shot."

Wallace, an overall winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans who has also scored multiple victories at the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring, was excited about the project. "This should be great," the English star said. "I love V.I.R. and I'm looking forward to driving the Crawford."
