The team did use the rest of 1993 to field James Weaver in an Indy Lights car with a best finish of fifth at the fourth race of the year in Detroit.

Rob: "We ran six races in Indy Lights in 1993. It is always educational to run different series but with the emergence of IMSA's WSC category, we went back to sports cars in 1994. Some of the Lights teams were creative in their rules interpretation. They were doing these sealed engines, but guys were taking valve covers off and putting in different rocker arms to get a different geometry off of the cam. Then they would plug the temperature gauge so that it wouldn't read that it was getting hotter, so the engine would get more fuel."
